Laconium, tepidarium, caldarium
Laconium is a room in the SPA centre, which is a part of the Roman bath . The tiling of the floor, the walls and the benches is made of ceramics, glass ceramics or marble in the more luxurious ones. It could be also a combination of the three materials in case the solutions of the designer are more creative. The laconium is a warm room, however it is not hot - the temperature reaches up to 50 -60 ºС, which allows sweating and natural purification of the organism. Thanks to the comfortable temperature and the relaxing atmosphere the laconium is a very good place for starting your thermal adventure . In the laconium you could spend about 15-20 min, you could relax in a dry and hot environment while your body warms up slowly and gently . After a soft shower, you are ready to make the next step into your SPA experience. The laconium is a good choice also for the ones, who enjoy relaxing at a warm and comfortable place, but for whom the high temperature of the steam bath or the sauna seems too challenging

Tepidarium is one of the best known antique baths, a part of the Roman bath and an integral part of every modern SPA centre. Here again just like in the laconium the tiling of the walls, the benches and the floor is made of ceramics, glass ceramics or marble. Typical for the tepidarium is that the temperature inside is very close to the temperature of the body ( approximately 37 - 39 ºС ), and the humidity is low, which makes the room highly suitable for relaxation and at the same time it strengthens the immune system. The warming up of the tepidarium is done through the floor and the walls. The tepidarium is recommended before the caldarium. The optimal time for a tepidarium stay is about 30 min.

Caldarium- the Caldarium is the third and hottest room in the Rome bath. The Caldarium is one of the steam bath kinds which reaches temperature of 42-45 °С. The room is vapory and hot and usually is used with various scents, which gently stimulate and excite the senses. The chromotherapy and chill out spa music are recommended and additionally contribute to the pleasant experience.
The tiling of the floor, the walls and the benches is made of ceramics, glass ceramics or marble as the one used in the Tepidarium and Laconium .The typical feature of this room is a shallow circle pool in the middle, surrounded with ceramics benches.
The heating of the Caldarium as in the previous rooms is done trough the walls and the benches.
The Caldarium is ideal place for relax and detoxification of the body. It is recommended to use this room for approximately 20 min., including brakes between the sessions. The Caldarium is perfect for relaxing and clearing your mind and body. After this procedure you will feel clean, peaceful with yourself and with high vital tonus.
